Back in 2002, famed bridesmaid designer Watters Watters got into the bridal shoe business. The Goddess style was an instant success as were several other styles from the line. So why isn t Watters and Watters still making shoes if they were so popular? One popular theory is, like so many other companies that branch-out out of their element, Watters had to rely on the advice of other experts in the shoe industry as to the breakdown of sizes. The size breakdown they chose could not have been worse. They bought heavily in wides and narrows and were unable to move them even after all the medium width shoes sold out. There are likely other unknown factors that contributed to the discontinuation of the shoe line but the bottom line remains the same; Watters Watters is a dress company.
