Fenaroli is likely not a name brides of today recognize as a bridal shoe designer but back in the late 1990 s, Fenaroli was the BIGGEST name in wedding shoes. Back then, there were only two or three couture wedding shoe designers TOTAL!!! Fenaroli revolutionized the industry by having their shoes in stock at there warehouse allowing bridal salons to order one pair at a time as needed. Soon, Fenaroli shoes were the industry standard. The brand actually started as headpiece and veil company Regalia. Regalia branched off into wedding shoes, jewelry, and flowergirl dresses and became the biggest bridal accessory company in the industry. As years went by the tides of fashion changed and Fenaroli faded into obscurity and has all but disappeared as of this posting.
The Olympia style shown here was Fenaroli s flagship style. The original price was over $300.00 and this was in 2001 (or earlier, we can t verify the exact release date of this style). The toe featured embroidery as well as pearls and rhinestones. With a heel height of over 3.5 inches, it was amazing that this style sold faster than it could be restocked. My Glass Slipper last sold this style in November of 2004; a size 6.0 for $99.00.
