Often times these names are misleading and the prices on these "Discount" sites are considerably more than the competition. You will find that My Glass Slipper often has the best prices after factoring in shipping costs and restocking fees. Be sure to review all the information from each website regarding shipping fees, delivery time, return procedures, and restocking fees before making your decision. MGS does not charge a restocking fee for 99% of the items shown. Only special ordered shoes in non-traditional colors have an applicable restocking fee and that is only if the shoes are being returned for a refund. Many other sites charge either a percentage or a flat rate restocking fee for each pair of shoes returned. Other sites penalize customers for purchasing more than a single pair of shoes at time. Some particularly unforgiving sites even charge restocking fees on exchanges! Though their initial prices may be a few dollars less, other charges quickly accumulate. MGS has very reasonable shipping rates. Our rates are not designed as a source of income but merely to cover the cost of shipping the product. Shipping charges are $7.00 for the first item and only $2.00 for each additional item. Don‚t be fooled by sites offering free shipping, they likely make up the cost somewhere else at your expense. Everything is in stock and ready for immediate delivery! Aside from items on back order and colored shoes, everything you see on our website is stocked at the store and can be shipped out within 1-2 business days. Need it tomorrow? No problem, arrangements can usually be made to have your shoes delivered the next day, even if you call at the last minute. A majority of the websites selling bridal shoes and accessories have limited or no inventory at all. In fact, many have never even seen the items they sell. MGS is an actual store! You can call anytime during business hours and find a wedding accessory professional to answer all your questions. We work one on one with hundreds of brides a month so we have probably encountered your concern first hand and already know the best answer for you. Our sales staff even tries on every new style as soon as it arrives so they really know what they are talking about! Truth in advertising. Some websites claim to have hundreds of styles to choose from but, upon visiting the site, brides soon discover that there is nowhere near that many styles and every shoe is from the same brand. Other sites anoint themselves "The #1 destination for bridal shoes" yet don‚t mention how it was determined that they were given that lofty title.
